Coalition Recognizes Legislators for Supporting Volunteer Drivers

Status Updates on 2021 Legislation

The Volunteer Driver Coalition backed two bills during the 2021 legislative session to protect volunteer drivers. Both measures — defining a volunteer driver in statute and creating a state income tax subtraction for volunteer drivers to reduce their tax liability in Minnesota — were enacted into law. Contact your legislators and thank them for supporting this important legislation.
